Augnos - Age Meme

My entry for the Age Meme Contest
40 minutes late because I forgot to add the text Xp

I had some trouble deciding on who to draw because the stories of most of my characters are incomplete and greatly depending on the revamp of my world concept

Augnos is a secondary character, part of a story that happened long before the current time period
He lived in the time when the human empire was in its golden age, conquering territory and gathering riches as they gained more land . And one of those riches were the non-human slaves
Being capable of doing much more work than the human laborers they were seen as valuable possessions, reason why the government kept close tabs on who owned who and how they were treated (because if they weren't provided properly they wouldn't be productive enough, so they were given to someone else who could handle the job). And also the reason why the black market was so interested in them

But because the general mentality was "they were little above animals, but inferior to humans" their living conditions were pretty poor. This is what shocked Augnos, because his family had recognized the mental potential the non-humans had and tried to provide them with the same resources human slaves had
