I came up with this idea while I waiting for a meeting and drew the rough version on my notebook
Ended up researching for actual references on the horse evolution, adapting it to the hexapod locomotion and later to the centaur evolution It was a fun exercise and a good practice for my artbook concept, but I can't say I'm completely pleased with it The references I've found weren't very good ones and it feels like some of the species I've used weren't the right ones If you know of good sites or well written (and illustrated) books on the tree of life please let me know. The information I have access to is broken in many places DX Comments
Hidden by Owner Very impressive! I love the amount of research you did...it always makes these sorts of things more interesting when you know they're based on fact. ^__^
-- If there's an RPG not yet played, I'll be there! If there's a comic book not yet read, I'll be there! If there are brownies not yet eaten, ...I'll be there a hell of a lot quicker! I like the point from when the mammal starts and onward the best. Some of the reptile ones do appear off, but I can only say that visually since I'm not expert on animal evolution.
Though I will say that the second to last one stands out too much from the others. It's not a side view like the rest. And I cannot help but noticed how the second to last has clothes but then the last and final form doesn't. He must have decided to screw modesty. lol! XD |
